Causa publishes analysis of why markets moved. It is general information, not investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and it does not take your circumstances into account. Do not buy or sell anything because of something you read here. Markets can fall sharply and you can lose all of your money.
Accuracy
We work hard to get facts right and we correct errors in public. Prices on this site may be delayed, intraday or provisional, and are labelled when they are. Always confirm a price with your broker or exchange before acting.
Security
The site is a set of static pages with no reader accounts and no stored passwords. Payments are handled by Paystack: card details go straight to Paystack and never reach Causa, and every payment message we receive is checked against its cryptographic signature before anything is recorded. No system is beyond attack, so if you find a weakness, write to [email protected]. We reply, fix what is real and credit you if you wish. Please do not access anyone else's data or disrupt the site while testing. Our contact details for researchers are also at /.well-known/security.txt.

Some links to exchanges are partner links. If you sign up through one, Causa may receive a commission at no cost to you. Partner links are labelled and have no influence on our analysis.
Privacy
Reading Causa needs no account and sets no tracking cookies. If you subscribe, we keep your email address only to send the Brief, and we never sell personal data. The full detail is in our privacy policy.
Use of our work
Articles, including every Cause File, are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0: share and adapt them with credit to Causa and a link to the source page. Edition and Scorecard data files are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial 4.0: free for research, teaching and personal projects with the same credit, but commercial use needs a licence, which will be part of Causa Research when it opens. Join the waitlist to ask about one now. Data downloaded before 26 October 2026 keeps the licence it was published under. The Causa name and mark are not covered by either licence. Prices and other market data come from third parties, such as Yahoo Finance, FRED and CoinGecko, remain subject to their terms, and are not covered by these licences.
