The record, working for you
Causa Research turns the public record into tools for analysts and the teams they brief: alerts when a call nears its line, search across every Cause File, and the data in the shape you need. The Brief, every Cause File and the Scorecard stay free.
What Causa Research adds
Alerts at the close
An email after the close when a call on a market you follow comes within reach of its line, and again on the day it holds or triggers.
Search the whole record
Every Cause File since the first edition, searchable by market, driver, grade and outcome. Ask how often oil moved on supply news, and how those explanations fared.
Exports and an API
Any slice of the record as CSV or JSON, or straight into your own models, with a commercial licence for the data.
Seats for a team
Five seats under one plan, with shared watchlists, for desks that brief other people.
Reserve a founding place
The first 100 members keep $15 a month for as long as they stay. That is $48 a year below the Individual price. Reserve now; nothing is charged until Causa Research opens and you confirm.
Research is for people who use the record at work. Everything that makes the record trustworthy stays open to everyone:
- The daily Brief, by email and on the site
- Every Cause File, with its chain, grade, sources and falsifier
- The full Scorecard: every call and every result
- Edition and Scorecard data for research, teaching and personal projects
Questions
When does Causa Research open?
When the Scorecard holds enough decided calls to be worth searching. The waitlist hears first, by a single email.
Will paying change what a Cause File says?
No. Causa Research is built on the same public record. Money never changes a grade, a falsifier or a verdict, and every Cause File stays free to read.
Is this investment advice or a signal service?
No. Causa explains why prices moved and tests those explanations in public. An alert tells you a test is close to deciding, not what to buy or sell.
Can my company use the data today?
For research and teaching, yes, with credit and a link. Anything commercial, such as a product, client work or a paid service, needs a licence, which will be part of Causa Research when it opens; reserve a place on the Research page to ask about one now. Quoting a figure with credit is always fine.
Using Causa's work
Articles, including every Cause File, are published under CC BY 4.0. Share and adapt them with credit to Causa and a link to the page.
Edition and Scorecard data files are published under CC BY-NC 4.0. They are free for research, teaching and personal projects with the same credit, but not for commercial products or services. A commercial data licence will be part of Causa Research when it opens; reserve a place on the Research page to ask about one now. Data downloaded before 26 October 2026 keeps the licence it was published under.
